Who is responsible
TopGenie is operated by Quirky Hive Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka ("TopGenie", "we", "us"). We are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data processed through the service. You can reach us at support@topgenie.in.
Information we collect
We collect: account and business details you provide (such as your name, email, mobile number, city and business type); billing records relating to your subscription; content you create in the service (reviews, private feedback, reply drafts, posts); data from a Google Business Profile you choose to connect; support and enquiry messages; and technical data generated when you use the service (such as IP address, device and browser information, and timestamps). The marketing website hosts fonts locally and does not install marketing or analytics trackers; if you choose "Remember my email", that email is stored only in your browser and can be cleared on the Cookies & preferences page.
How we use your information
We use your information to create and administer your account, provide and improve the features in your plan, process payments, provide support, keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Consent and legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any optional marketing consent is sought separately and is never bundled with account creation. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
Google data and AI processing
We read public business details through the Google Places API. If you connect a Google Business Profile, we access that profile's data through Google authorisation solely to provide the connected features, and we handle it consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its limited-use requirements. If you enable AI drafting, the relevant review content and business context are sent to our AI provider only to generate drafts for your review; we do not sell your data or use it to train third-party models beyond delivering the feature.
Sharing and providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate TopGenie, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection arrangements: cloud hosting, our payment processor (Razorpay), our AI drafting provider (where you enable it), and Google. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
Retention and security
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for the period reasonably required to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes; routine funnel and analytics data is pruned periodically. We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures, including encryption of data in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent. Use the process on our Data requests page. We will respond within the time required by law. Some data may be retained where we are legally required or permitted to keep it.

TopGenie is intended only for adult business users and is not directed at children. Do not submit sensitive personal information, such as health records, diagnoses, identity documents or payment secrets, into public reviews, private feedback or AI draft prompts.
